The fine print

In this disclaimer, “CompKoala”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the CompKoala website.

We do not run, judge or award the competitions listed on this site, and we are not affiliated with a promoter unless we clearly say otherwise.

Each competition is operated by its promoter under its own official terms and conditions. Those terms always take priority over information displayed on CompKoala.

A competition appearing on CompKoala does not mean that we endorse, certify or guarantee the competition, promoter or prize.

No guarantee of accuracy

Listings are compiled from publicly available information and community submissions.

We try to keep listings useful and accurate, but competition information can change after it has been listed. Closing dates, eligibility requirements, prizes, entry methods and other details may be changed by a promoter without notice to us.

We therefore cannot guarantee that every listing is complete, accurate or current.

Always check the promoter’s official competition page and terms and conditions before entering.

Competitions and prizes

CompKoala does not collect competition entries, determine eligibility, select winners or supply prizes. Any entry you make is submitted to the promoter, not CompKoala.

Questions or disputes concerning an entry, eligibility, judging, the conduct of a competition or the delivery of a prize should be directed to the relevant promoter.

To the extent permitted by law, CompKoala is not responsible for loss arising from matters outside our reasonable control, including a promoter:

• changing, cancelling or withdrawing a competition;
• refusing or invalidating an entry;
• changing eligibility or entry requirements;
• failing to award or deliver a prize; or
• publishing false, misleading or fraudulent competition information.

External links

CompKoala contains links to competition promoters and other third-party websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, conduct or privacy practices.

When you leave CompKoala, the third party’s own terms, conditions and privacy practices apply.

You should consider what information a promoter is asking you to provide before submitting it.

Promotional artwork

Competition listings may include promotional images, logos or other artwork published by the relevant promoter in connection with the competition.

This material remains the property of its respective rights holders and is displayed only to identify and describe the competition. Its appearance on CompKoala does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.

If you own rights in material displayed on CompKoala and believe it should not be used here, please contact us and we will review the request.

Availability of CompKoala

We try to keep CompKoala available and working properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The site may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, security issues or circumstances outside our control.

Legal rights

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including any applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Subject to those rights and to the extent permitted by law, CompKoala is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not guarantee that the site or the information on it will always be accurate, complete, current or available.

Questions or corrections
